My test came back high. What now?
Above 200 Bq/m3, Health Canada recommends taking action, and the higher the number the sooner. That means mitigation: an engineered system that draws the radon out from under the house before it gets in. It is a one-day job in a typical home, and we guarantee the result rather than the effort.

Act, but you have time to do it properly. A site inspection tells you what your home needs and what it costs, and you decide from there.
Over 600
Health Canada advises acting sooner at higher concentrations. Call us and say so, and we will treat the timing accordingly.
Under 200 but not comfortable
No level is considered risk free, and the WHO reference level is 100 Bq/m3. Plenty of people mitigate below the Canadian action limit for exactly that reason, and that is a legitimate choice rather than an upsell.

When a transaction will not wait 91 days. A real estate deal with a conditional period needs a number in days, not months, so a certified 48-hour or 7-day test with a calibrated continuous monitor is the appropriate tool. It answers the question in front of you honestly, and it is not a substitute for a long-term test if you are deciding whether to mitigate your own home.
