Who is South West Radon?
South West Radon Pros Inc. is a locally owned radon contractor led by Phil Mendes, a C-NRPP certified radon professional. C-NRPP is the Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program, the certification Health Canada points homeowners to when choosing someone to measure or mitigate radon.
What you can expect from us
Measure first, then design
Pressure field extension measurements before anything gets cut. It is the step that separates a system from a pipe, and it is the one most often skipped.
Guarantee a number, not an effort
Below 75 Bq/m3, or as low as reasonably achievable where a building restriction prevents it. Not a percentage reduction, which only means something if you trust the before reading.
Prove it afterwards
A post-install verification test, and the reading handed to you. If it did not land where we said, that is our problem to solve rather than yours to discover.
Say when you do not need us
If your level is low, or a cheaper measure is genuinely the right call, that is what you will hear. Radon is a one-time purchase for most households, so a bad recommendation buys us nothing.
Explain rather than sell
The site inspection is a paid, educational walkthrough, and the fee is credited back in full if you proceed. You are paying for the assessment, not sitting through a pitch.
Be here afterwards
We are local. If something needs looking at in three years you are calling the same number and reaching the same person.
